silly moments.
because mark is working so many hours and assistant coaching for two baseball teams, I've taken over the yard work for the summer. after my morning bike ride and walk with little guy, I came home to tackle the yard before the heat would prohibit it.
after two hours of weeding the beds, watering plants, using the weed eater, and mowing, I came in for a break. when I looked in the mirror, I got the giggles!
I had NO idea I had been wearing these reflective safety glasses all morning. I thought they were clear!! silly girl, silly post.

Oops! I think you look really cool in them. Right now, I have pasted white-colored Bert's beeswax lip balm on my sunburnt lips. I'm fearful that someone will ring the bell and I'll forget that I look like a clown....but my lips are so dried up.
I like them...very urban homemaker,but in a cool way. I am sure your yard is looking awesome!

They look so much better than safety goggles my dear hubby and I have worn while we ride our bicycles in the evening. The bugs are pretty lively out in our heat at that time of the day! :/ We look very silly, but it is better than having bugs in our eyes!

I agree that you look super cool! And in cute safety glasses you are ready for anything that comes your way. Good for you for doing all that work - I don't do the weed eater because all those blades always fly up my nose! Hope you summer is wonderful!
