back on track

it's been good to get back on track with my ADVENTure this month. here's what I've been working on:
sewing more santas

framing wool
you can buy the pattern here.

a few more dishcloths

adding to the "year of cards" collection

and in progress...something to share next month!

this year mark and I have a good balance between crafted and purchased gifts on our list. and these are one of my favorites that I can't wait to gift. our family uses and loves them! go grab a set!!

tip of the month:
back in march, I encouraged you to think about and plan your holiday sweet treats! it's always a good time to think sweet! don't 'ya think?

one of my goals for the summer was to find beautiful glass items I could use to gift my oreo truffles. I was thinking garage sales, thrift shops, etc. little did I know I would find all I needed at one garage sale and pay $less$ than seven dollars for these ten pieces:
it is so possible to give your delicious treats in beautiful pieces and not spend a fortune! I hope you find a few treasures this summer!

don't forget to link up your own ADVENTure posts!

Great projects and I love the dish idea. We have lots of antique store - I'll get shopping. Later this week I finally have an ADVENTure. I'm glad you are encouraging all of us.

You've made some lovelies! Those cross stitched ornaments are so fine and detailed - must have taken quite a bit of your precious time to finish those! And I love the discloth -- what yarn are you using (if I'm not being too nosy ;)? I've fallen between the cracks this month -- good intentions but nothing finished ;(. Must do better in July!
Blessings,
GG

Your cross stitches are such precious works of art. Love how you are showcasing them. Dishcloths make such awesome gifts - everyone can use one. I also wish i had something to link up - but this post really inspires me to get started!

I love those pressed glass dishes. They used to be so easily available, now much rarer, though I do get some in charity (?thrift) shops. I have used them to make candles - they look very fine in groups in a special table setting

Hi kristyn,
You are such a busy bee or should I say elf. Ok, sorry lame joke, I just couldn't help myself ;) lol! You've created so many beautiful gifts. I think its interesting that so much of your time is spent on the beautiful art of gift giving. This seems so fitting for the spirit that you posess. You are a giver!!

Thank you for stopping by for a visit!! It's nice to be on the block again. Bloggy neighbors, so to speak ;)
