go send a card

I love to send cards. always have, always will. I could spend hours making cards, thinking of the people I love, picking out the perfect card, then sitting down and hand writing a special message. that whole process would make up a "perfect" day for me.
did you know January 9th - 16th is National Lettering Writing Week?
just another reason to pick up your pen and share a few thoughts with a friend.

having a hard time thinking of someone to send a card to? what about: someone who blessed you with an awesome gift recently; someone who's lost a loved one in the past year; a friend you haven't spoken to in awhile; a relative you'd like a stronger connection with; a child who needs a bit of extra encouragement.

now that I have you thinking, "just start." send out one hand written note this week. I dare you to bless someone with your words!

To send a letter is a good way to go somewhere
without moving anything but your heart.

What a great reminder to bless someone with a card. I've got a stack to send...just need to sit down and write some notes. Your cards are so pretty...they are always a blessing.

Your cards are so lovely, K! I have to confess, I'm a terrible letter/card writer, so thanks so much for the encouragment in this!
And I'm looking forward to more info on the ADVENTure.
Blessings,
GG

Beautiful cards! And what a great reminder to remember the good old "snail mail!!" :)
I have been slowly catching up on sending out some of my thank you cards for the holiday goodness we have received. I still think there is nothing quite like opening up the mail box and finding a card or letter (even better) tucked inside to me!!
Have fun making your cards!!

You are so lovely, Kristyn! Your cards are wonderful ... but the urge to send some of our own is just magical. Thanks for the inspirational call to action!

Great idea....I actually have a stack of cards ready to mail (I've just been slow getting to the post office because I don't want to go out in the cold and snow).

Your cards are some of the most beautiful I've ever seen. You've inspired me to play with paper (instead of fabric!) for a while.

This is a great reminder! I miss some of my old coworkers that I always try to visit now and then, which lately I think months have gone past, a letter would be a nice thing to send.

Thank you. I didn't know it was National Letter Writing Week. A handwritten note, however brief and time passed, is a beautiful gesture not only of friendship, but time, precious time, given without expectations, simply because the heart is good.

As is your heart.

Peace out!

Oh kristyn you're a blessing! Thanks for encouraging me to make a little time to be a blessing too. There's a new project I signed up for that I think you would be wonderful at. I'll send you the link & more info in an email. I really need to get better at this. It really does brighten the day of the recipient ;)

Love xoxo
