kristyn knits?

you may be wondering if, indeed, I do still knit!?! the answer is yes... just not recently. instead, this summer has been full of cross-stitch. once I finished my Hilton Head sampler, I moved on to this knitting santa, which is now a wip.

but in between, I cast on lisa's new favorite dishcloth diversion. and it's just as wonderful as she says!! I chose white and my favorite blue, green, and white sugar 'n cream yarn. the pattern is quick to memorize with perfect results! Pattern: waffle knit dishcloth
Yarn: Sugar 'n Cream- white/variegated blue, green, and white
Needles: size 7
Finished Size: 9"x 8"

sharing 'favorite things' is one of my favorite things to do! hope you'll try it!

I love knitting wash clothes, it is so quick and fulfilling. I understanding the not knitting recently. I don't know what it is about summer, but it is just too hard to get through big projects :)

I will most definitely try it! I've only knitted one dishcloth - and i don't recall ever using it. so i will partake in this 'dishcloth diversion' of which you speak and knit one - and use it to wash my dishes!

Ta da!!! It turned out fabulous. Nothing quite like the satisfaction of a knitted dishcloth. Looks great! I like the varigated yarn.

I've been on a washcloth knitting kick myself these past few weeks. It was the easiest thing for me to knit at the hospital when my 6 yr old was sick again recently.

Yours turned out great! I'll have to try that pattern out!

Happy knitting-
ali

Oh, I must try that pattern. I'm running low on dishcloths, so I've been on a dishcloth knitting binge here lately. Thanks for sharing!
