celebrating you, mom

*me, mom, and my sister*
her children rise up and call her blessed;
her husband, also, and he praises her.
Proverbs 31:28
happy mother's day, mom!
Top Ten Things I Learned from my Mother:
10. when the tank hits 1/2 full, fill it up!
9. always wear clean underwear; you never know when there will be an emergency.
8. how to read a map and go new places
7. give generously of your time and talents by volunteering.
6. how to cross stitch and explore creative outlets
5. how to write thank you notes
4. when giving the gift of outfits for children, always include matching socks!
3. don't be afraid to try new things, move new places, make new friends!
2. take care of your family, always!
1. laugh often, share much, and love big!
this is obviously NOT an all inclusive list! her impact on my life and what she's taught me couldn't be summarized in a Top 10 list! you are a blessing to me mom.
I love you to the moon and back.
your daughter

Thanks so much for the wonderful Mother's Day post. I'm glad you've remembered some of the things I've told you...NOW if I could only heed my own advice...#10, the almost running out of gas cured me! I'm a lucky mother to have not one but TWO wonderful daughters whom I love with all my heart...this Mother's Day was the best ever! Thanks for being YOU...a wonderful mother and daughter.

Love

Mom
