two thousand ten

(the photo? just because it makes me smile.)
we're home, and
school is back in session.
the boys seem to be smelling maggie, kenzie and john samuel on everything, {this could be because lisa was so generous to let me finish laundry before we left}
and I'm missing my best friend.

I feel like I'm drowning in thoughts of things I want to do and things I want to share as we finish 2009 and begin 2010, but one day at home just isn't enough time to process all that I'm swimming in, so I've decided to give myself until next week to grab a life vest and swim to shore. I hope you stop back soon to see what I've been thinking about.
until then, are you saying twenty ten or two thousand ten?

You know, I hadn't even thought about that... twenty ten....two thousand ten. I like the sound of twenty ten, I think.

Looking forward to hearing your thoughts for the new year.

Yeah -- you're back! I'm so glad you had a great time with Lisa and her gang. Now, about those teeth, have you taken him to a dentist? I can't wait to see what you've been up to.

Welcome back! I haven't thought about what to call the year...a happy new one is what I'm going with for now. I'll put a number on it later!

I'm going with 20 10. I like how modern that sounds and since I'm so modern, I'm going with that! ha! We're missing you guys too! The house is so much stiller in a sad sort of way...I hope the smelling thing is a good thing. I sniffed my arm when I read that, just to see what scent I came up with....anyways, can't wait to hear what's swimming around in your mind...you're so smart to give yourself some time.

Welcome home! Judging from your - and Lisa's - flickr photos it looks like you had a wonderful vacation. Take your time and settle in and then share all those crafts and cards that you made at Lisa's. I definitely want to see more. I'm saying 21 10 too - mainly because it's shorter and simpler and this year i'm all about simple and easy - in a good way. Happy 20 10 to you and your family!
