words for wednesday

you know you knit too much when...
...your child announces that he would like
to be a ghost for Halloween
and you immediately decide that you will knit the thing.
after all, if you sew the eyeholes shut afterward,
a knitted ghost costume could totally be a white afghan.

usually, when my kids tell me that want something...they quickly follow it up with - "but you don't have to knit it mom, we can buy it"!

my kiddos do exactly the same as Lisa's! they also warn me that even if they like it, they may not wear it. But I do like the idea of knitting a great big, warm white afghan!

thanks for being the kind of mom, and knitter that wouldn't really do that!

you're hilarous! i am obviously not that much of a knitter because i would be looking for an old sheet to cut holes into! LOL!

I don't knit -- but I've had crocheting thoughts like that. It's funny how these hobbies turn into obsessions.
