planes, parties, and pools

seems like just yesterday, but, in fact, it's been a week since we celebrated connor's birthday at Walt Disey World. mark was so generous to surprise connor and me with tickets for a mini birthday vacation. he was such a good little guy.

he found creative things to do as we waited for airplanes.
he celebrated #6 with all his favorite characters.
he swam his little suit off in gramma and grandpa's pool.
and he slept the entire flight home!
it was a birthday to remember!
go visit mark's blog to read his tribute to our son.

I'm filled with emotion this morning as I read your blog and reflect on your little guy and remember what seems like yesterday to me when you were his size and just as adorable. I'm so thankful that the Lord has so richly blessed our family and so very confident that long after I'm gone our rich family heritage will continue. Uncle Tom

What an amazing way to celebrate a birthday, and I bet it was neat to make it a surprise. We are coming up on our oldest turning 6. Where does the time go?
