hello july

I love turning the page on a new month. a fresh, blank calendar just waiting to be filled with moments. some will be happy. some will be sad. some will be easy. some will be hard. but with the comfort that everything passes through my heavenly Father's hands first, I know all is well. I can handle what comes.
just one short year ago. cer and sor at hilton head.

with some of the details already planned, I'll be adventuring through:
:: the end of baseball
:: my dad's double knee replacement surgery
:: vacation with the quicks
:: a family reunion
:: a summer basketball camp
:: pc shows
:: a slew of doctor appointments
:: oh! and a few crafty creative projects {can't forget those}
what do you have planned?

is it me, or did summers used to be so much slower and simpler?! although we are gearing up, i am beside myself with anticipation of spending more than a week soaking up as much of you as i can. with the additional seasonings of my boys, the quicks, the emmons, the sun and the surf, i am certain i will be filled to overflowing with the joy of all God has blessed us with.

I can't believe it is July. I feel the same way about a new calendar month. I'm looking forward to the fireworks with my family, long walks on the beach, treasures found, the sound of the surf, new projects to start and old ones to finally finish!

no mark... it is not just you... summer used to go SO slowly. those days spent outside as a child lasted forever. oh, simple times.

i loved "vacation with the quicks" so fun!

i'm looking forward to our days at home.... when we throw the blanket in the yard and have a picnic. the day we spend not going ANYWHERE! :)

What a busy July you have. We have just normal summer fun and not much else planned this month :)

we really need to balance the busy with the quiet. the thing that amazes me is that my girls are ready to pick up and go so fast, when i sometimes just want the quiet!

Your july sounds busy and fun (vacation with the quicks)! I too and looking foreward to spending some quiet days at home. Because we live about an hour from everywhere, everytime we go somewhere it turns into an all day excursion! and all I want to do is finish my knitting projects!
