today spencer's fifth grade memory book packet was due. his part was complete, but I still had to get pictures developed this morning to finish my part. so my inner struggle this afternoon was- do I drive the one mile round trip to school to drop off the packet OR do I get some needed exercise and walk with my ipod and camera and see what blessings I can find? even though I have a 'to-do NOW' list a mile long, I sought out the blessings. this is what I found along the way:
I was in awe of the beauty of the flowering trees, and these two squirrels made me laugh out loud as the "posed" for my pictures. I will walk for blessings.

what a great choice (to smell "the roses")! i am proud of you for pursuing the blessings. and thank you for the priority you place on our boys. your note to spencer last night was the perfect picture of a mother's heart.
love the photos...we can all learn to slow down a little!
love your new header! so cute! those pictures are fabulous...so glad you were blessed. I'm blessed to be your friend.
Beautiful photos and a good reminder to us all.
Kristyn,
I, too, have been struggling with the to-do NOW list or taking walks. I will take a lesson from you and as Mark said, choose to smell the roses and walk for blessings. That is good for the mind and soul, much more than the to-do list. Love you, Kris
