if you aren't familiar with punch needle, you can visit country stitches to get more details and see more projects. the basics-you work from the back of your project punching floss through a pre-printed canvas with a punch needle. this project is an easy traveler. I took it to basketball practice tonight and got a big portion of the background completed. so this is what I've been up to lisa.

crafting wip
I'll be updating you on my knitting in another post, but for now one of my works in progress. I wanted to get away from my knitting for a spell, so I started this punch needle project. I purchased this awhile ago with lisa, but put it aside when I started knitting.

It is looking great. I remember that one, so pretty. I punch needled before Christmas and I had forgotten how fun and fast it was.
shut up! how many things can you turn from pattern into beautiful?! i can't keep up with the count. your not-so-secret admirer, me.
That is just beautiful! I hope you enjoyed your extra time. What a bonus!
That is really pretty! I recently bought a punch needle kit at the craft store, but forgot the hoop! I am excited to try it now!
