words for wednesday

"Hope for the moment. There are times when its too hard to believe in the future, when we are temporarily just not brave enough. When this happens, concentrate on the present. Cultivate le petit bonheaur (the little happiness) until courage returns. Look forward to the beauty of the next moment, the next hour, the promise of a good meal, sleep, a book, a movie, the likelihood that tonight the stars will shine. Sink roots into the present until strength grows to think about tomorrow."

I love this quote! Focusing on the present is so important - and if we worry too much about the future and all of it's unknowns we may miss the present all together! thank you Kristyn. You need to compile all of these quotes and create a calendar or... book of quotes... or line of t-shirts...or - you get the idea.

my strength has been waning lately, and i will take the challenge presented and the encouragement offered by this quote. and i am so looking forward to this weekend, when we have chosen to regroup a bit and sink some roots into the present so that we regain the strength to grow and bloom together. great choice of words ... for this wednesday.
